Before the Town of Lamartine Plan Commission

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lamartine Municipal Building Meeting Room, N5269 Schaefer Drive, in the Town of Lamartine, the Plan Commission will hold a public hearing for the purpose of considering rezoning 54 parcels throughout various locations in the town. The Town of Lamartine initiated the rezoning process for all parcels that do not conform to their current use. This will bring the current zoning map into compliance with the Fond du Lac County Farmland Preservation (Zoning) map. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), which administers the State’s Farmland Preservation Program, has a requirement that the Township’s Farmland Preservation map must be the same as the County’s Farmland Preservation map. The Town of Lamartine Plan Commission will make a recommendation to the Town Board regarding these proposed rezonings.

The Town Board may be in attendance at this public hearing, but there will be no action by the Town Board at the Public Hearing.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Lamartine Town Board will take action on the Plan Commission’s recommendation at their normal Town Board Meeting, June 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. also to be held at the Lamartine Municipal Building Meeting Room.

This hearing, as all Town Meetings, is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend. For more information contact: Frank Bartzen, Chairman at
920-979-0750 or Jill Randall, Clerk at 920-960-7835, or via email [email protected].
